K94KIDS has started a big dog rescue. We will rescue dogs as part of our program and work on training and socializing these dogs until they get adopted. We work with the dogs to help them find their forever home, until then we will work with the dogs doing some basic obedience training and using them in the K94KIDS class. Any donations would help us pay for food, vet bills, dog beds, dog kennels, etc. Please email or fill out a contact form if you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting one of our rescue dogs. All dogs will have an adoption fee. Please consider donating and looking into our available dogs.
AVALIABLE RESCUE DOGS
SNICKERS
Snickers is an emergency rescue we got from the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter. He wasn't doing well in the shelter environment and started getting crazy. Snickers is an 83 lb German Shepherd Dog who is super friendly and very playful and full of energy. He would do best in an active family who knows the breed who is willing to continue working on his training with him. Please email or fill out a contact form if you are interested in meeting/adopting Snickers.
SUCCESS STORIES
DIAMOND
Diamond was given to the rescue based on extenuating circumstances. We trained her during the time she was with us and took her to train in places like home Depot and Bass Pro Shop. We also used her in our Special Needs Program and letting volunteers handle her in our obedience class. We were able to polish her obedience and tune her up before she found her home.
KEVIN
Kevin was a puppy that the San Martin animal shelter asked us to rescue when he was about 5 weeks old. Kevin was found on the side of the road almost dead when animal control found him. We took him into our rescue and have been raising him as well as working on his obedience and socialization. Kevin has been adopted and will be going to his home in Hawaii in October, until then we will continue his training.
THOR
Thor was the first dog we fostered and our first success story. We also put hours of training into him and will continue to work on his training with his new owners.

Max is a German Shepherd we fostered, he has a sweet temperament and can get excited too, he is also a little timid around other dogs and loud noises. We had him for a couple of weeks and worked on his obedience, he has found his home and will continue his training with his new family.
REGAN
Regan is another german shepherd mix we fostered, he is very energetic and has lots of energy. He was going to be euthanized just because he was at a shelter for too long. She found her forever home with a man who will give her lots of attention and continue her training.
